A London Address · Since 1928
In the heart of Mayfair, The Gresham pairs the grandeur of old London with a wholly modern house: an indoor pool under chandeliers, a spa, a gymnasium, and a restaurant worth crossing the city for.
The House
Drawn from a 1928 palace of pale stone, The Gresham keeps its bones — the vaulted lobby, the gilded stair, the hall of chandeliers — while quietly becoming something of the present. Nine hundred rooms and suites rise above the city's quieter streets, each one refitted with the discretion the building deserves.
Light is the house's real luxury. It falls across polished marble, breaks against crystal, and settles into rooms dressed in cream and silver, warmed by threads of gold leaf. Our concierge keeps the city at arm's reach; our housekeeping keeps it outside the door. It is a hotel made to be lived in slowly.
Rooms & Suites
All rates from, per night · breakfast & spa access included

A calm corner of the house, made for one — a full-size bed, a marble bathroom with rain shower, and a quiet garden aspect.

Generous for two, with a sitting area, a writing desk in gilded oak, and a deep marble bath set in pale stone.

A separate salon and bedroom, a dressing room in silver leaf, butler service on call, and a terrace over the courtyard.

The crown of the house — three bedrooms, a private dining room seating twelve, a dedicated chef and a chauffeured car.
Rates are quoted per room, per night, inclusive of VAT and full English breakfast, and include access to the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gymnasium. Long-stay and seasonal rates are available on request; the Presidential Suite is reserved by arrangement with the head of house.
Amenities

The Pool
Twenty-five metres of heated water, ringed in pale marble, with chandeliers the length of the ceiling. Swim at dawn before the city wakes, or linger with a pot of tea on the loungers until the light turns gold.
The Spa
A cedar sauna and a sunken marble jacuzzi open onto the courtyard garden, while the gymnasium below holds a full floor of equipment, a wall of mirrors, and trainers on hand from six in the morning. Treatment rooms may be booked by the hour.

The Hall
Our grand hall seats four hundred beneath a single crystal chandelier, dressed in cream and gold for weddings, galas and the quiet occasions in between. Six further private rooms host boards, dinners and receptions.

Dining
Aurelia is the house's plate: a long, unhurried menu built around the British season, served in a room of pale stone and candlelight beneath its own smaller chandeliers.
A winter menu of game and root; a summer menu of the coasts — always finished with something from the courtyard kitchen garden. The cellar runs to two thousand bins, and the bar keeps its own quiet hours long after dinner service ends.

Guest Book
The lobby alone is worth the journey — crystal and marble, and staff who remember your name by breakfast. Our suite was immaculate.

Stayed in a Full Suite, March 2026
I swam in the pool at six each morning, beneath chandeliers. The sauna and jacuzzi afterwards made a holiday of a work trip.

Double Room, four nights
Dinner at Aurelia was the finest we had in London this year. The wine list alone could keep you an evening.
